Linn State and UCM to sign articulation agreement
The University of Central Missouri (UCM) in Warrensburg and Linn State Technical College will sign a formal agreement on Monday that will ensure qualified Linn State students can continue their educational goals with a smooth transition.
Under the terms of the new articulation agreement, students who successfully complete a two-year associate of applied science degree in the Construction & Civil Technology (CCT) program or Aviation Maintenance (TAM) at Linn State can seamlessly transfer to UCM to pursue a baccalaureate degree.
According to Linn State President Dr. Donald Claycomb, the agreement fits well with Linn State’s mission to prepare students for profitable employment and a life of learning. “More and more students will eventually want to earn a baccalaureate degree in order to advance in their professions,” said Claycomb. “Agreements such as this, ensure that happens seamlessly.”
With more than 35 programs, Linn State Technical College is Missouri’s only public two-year technical college with a statewide mission. LSTC prepares students for profitable employment and a life of learning. LSTC has three locations in Linn, Mexico and Jefferson City.
