Heavy Equipment Technology and Medium/Heavy Truck Technology Instructor
Linn State Technical College is accepting applications for a full-time, 12-month instructor in the Heavy Equipment Technology and Medium/Heavy Truck Technology programs. The position will begin in July 2013. Duties include developing and teaching classes such as diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, power trains, A/C, brakes, and related topics. Additional duties include student recruitment and advisement, lab equipment maintenance, and college service. Required Qualifications: Three years relevant work experience and excellent communication, computer, and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a heavy equipment or truck dealership including training others and a baccalaureate degree in a related discipline.
