Electronics Engineering Technology Instructor
Linn State Technical College has an opening for a full-time, 9-month Electronics Engineering Technology Instructor to begin in August 2013. The instructor will teach either biomedical equipment technology or industrial electronics, depending on experience and qualifications. A biomedical equipment technology instructor would teach basic electronics, biomedical equipment, introductory diagnostic imaging, medical terminology, and applied anatomy & physiology classes. Industrial electronics classes would include sensors, transducers, motor controls, electronic control circuits, and various other analog and digital circuits. Additional duties include student recruitment and advisement and college service. Required Qualifications: Three or more years of relevant work experience and excellent communication, computer, and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualification: Baccalaureate degree in a related discipline and training/teaching experience.
