The purpose of the TCP is to ensure the quality of materials incorporated into MoDOT projects by supporting proper and uniform procedures among individuals responsible for the sampling and acceptance testing (including IAS and FAST) of certain non-manufactured materials used in transportation construction projects. These materials are aggregates, soil, concrete and asphalt. The certification process includes classroom instruction followed by written examinations and performance demonstrations. No exceptions will be made by virtue of previous experience or education.

Early Bird Registration Deadline is 10 days prior to any course.

MoDOT Technician Certification classes will begin in January 2013.

Class Location/ Information
Please refer to the map link below for directions to our location. We are located in the Multi-Purpose building (bldg 9 on map), parking is available in the gravel lot in front of the building. Entrance to the MoDOT classes is located on the East end of the building, blue door between the last two garage doors. (look for signs) All first time certification classes will begin at 8:00 a.m. Please arrive 15 minutes before scheduled time.

Pre-Pay/Cancellation Policy
Payment for classes is due upon receipt of first email. Once application is submitted, you will receive an email stating that your application request has been received. This email will include prices for all classes, enrollment for requested classes will remain pending until your payment is received. Once payment is received, you will be sent a confirmation email confirming final enrollment and in the classes you requested. MoDOT personnel - payment arrangements have been made.

Payment can be made one of three (3) ways:

1. Credit Card-call 573.897.5121 to make a credit card payment. Make sure you have totals for classes, name of students, and class dates available when you call.
2. Check-Mail to: Linn State Technical College, ATTN: Accounts Payable, One Technology Drive, Linn, MO 65051. Be sure to include a copy of your email that shows student names and class dates.
3. Purchase Order-Mail a copy of the Purchase Order to: MoDOT Technician Certification Program, ATTN: Cynthia Cox, Linn State Technical College, One Technology Drive, Linn, MO 65051

LSTC Cancellation Policy – You must notify LSTC personnel at 573-897-5220, 10 days prior to your class date to receive a full refund. If you cancel within 10 calendar days of your class date a $75 processing fee is withheld from your refund. No refunds are given for No Shows or if you cancel after the start of your class.

Insufficient Enrollment / Weather Cancellation Policy
LSTC class minimum is 8; classes with insufficient enrollment may be cancelled. We will inform you of the possibility of cancellation at least 10 calendar days in advance. If we cancel classes for low enrollment, you will be moved into the next available class and emailed a new confirmation.

Classes are not normally cancelled due to inclement weather; you can check the website for a cancellation notice or call Cynthia at 573-897-5220. Don’t hesitate to call our office if you have questions.
